A strong spring storm is now rolling through Colorado! The rain and snow are decreasing from north to south, but temperatures will stay cool. Highs will only be in the 40s this afternoon, with another round of rain/snow showers possible and freezing temperatures overnight for the Denver-area.
The parched plains and cities in the Denver metro area and along the I-25 Corridor saw a good soaking, with around 3 to 6 inches near Denver and heavier snow south along the Palmer Divide and west near the foothills. If you are still hoping to ski or snowboard, it's closing day for Mary Jane. Arapahoe Basin continues to be open daily, so enjoy the thick powder at both places today.
Sunday will start off cold, but milder temperatures are on the way. Highs tomorrow will be in the 50s, with rain showers likely late in the day.
