LAREDO, Texas - U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers at the Laredo Port of Entry made a significant drug seizure on Friday. The operation netted over $818,000 worth of illegal narcotics. CBP officers selected a 2014 GMC Terrain for further inspection upon its arrival at the Juarez-Lincoln Bridge.
A canine unit and a non-intrusive inspection system examination uncovered a significant amount of narcotics.Additionally, officers discovered two grams of suspected methamphetamine in the occupants' personal belongings."CBP is proud of the hard work and dedication our frontline officers demonstrate every day," said Port Director Alberto Flores of the Laredo Port of Entry.
