It’s official: Lady Gaga will join Joaquin Phoenix in ‘Joker: Folie à Deux,’ the sequel to the Oscar-winning hit.
Lady Gaga announced the casting in a video on her official Twitter page. Silhouettes of Phoenix and Gaga slowly dance over a red background as an instrumental version of the jazz standard “Cheek to Cheek” plays in the background. The two silhouettes dance together as Phoenix's laughter can be heard in the background over the title card. The final frame reveals the film's anticipated release date of October 4th, 2024.
