Joe Manchin are threatening to derail sweeping legislation that could help millions of Americans.that would expand access to education, health care, childcare, and paid family and medical leave, while also addressing the urgent threat of climate change and dilapidated national infrastructure. But Sinema and Manchin are blocking the $3.5 trillion reconciliation bill, which contains most of the social spending provisions.
