MANILA, Philippines: South Korean singer Park Bo-ram passed away at 30, her agency confirmed.

Park gained popularity with the song 'Hyehwadong ' which was the official soundtrack of the hit series, 'Reply 1988.'According to Korean entertainment site Soompi, Park 's agency XANADU Entertainment confirmed the news on Friday morning.'It's true that Park Bo Ram died on April 11. The cause of death is currently being investigated by the police,' the agency said.A separate report from website allkpop.com claimed that Park passed away at a friend's home.

''During the gathering, which occurred at a friend's home, Park Bo Ram went to the restroom at around 9:55 p.m. When she did not return after some time, one of the individuals present went to check on her, and found her slouched over the sink, unconscious. The friends present called 119 immediately and attempted to perform CPR on Park Bo Ram,' allkpop.com wrote.Park was rushed to Hanyang University Guri Hospital but was pronounced dead at 11:17 p.m.
