Korean actor Kim Seon-ho, star of the drama “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha,” celebrated his 37th birthday today, May 8, with a donation to vulnerable young people. KimSeonHo 김선호 READ:

He donated 100 million won to the Korean Red Cross from the proceeds of the fan meeting for young people in South Korea who are preparing to become self-reliant.These are young people who have to live on their own when they turn 18 after living in child welfare facilities or foster homes due to parental absence or abuse. There are about 2,500 young people every year who are classified under this in South Korea.

Kim Seon-ho decided to sponsor self-reliant young people through a fandom vote. At his request, the Korean Red Cross plans to use the donation for a program to develop self-reliance capabilities of young people preparing for self-reliance. “This donation is a donation made by the fans. Thank you to the fans who are always with me. I hope this opportunity will be of some help to young people who have to stand alone,” said Kim Seon-ho.

“We hope that young people who are experiencing psychological and economic difficulties can confidently stand on their own as members of the social community through housing and emotional support programs,” he said.
