Jordan Poole’s flair for showmanship was on display during Golden State’s loss to the Hawks Friday.
From playing invisible piano keys after getting knocked down to all fours to firing up the crowd and his team’s bench with four first-half 3-pointers, Poole put on another rousing performance to add to what has been his best month in the NBA.“He’s just a cerebral player and to see how much he’s grown since his rookie year, his one-on-one ability is incredible, his ability to read the floor is also incredible,” Klay Thompson said after the Warriors’ 121-110 loss to the Hawks.
In fact, Thompson believes Poole is blossoming into a future All-Star — something the third-year guard said is a goal of his. “He wants to be great and you need that confidence to be great,” Thompson continued. “I’m so proud of Jordan and we need him to make a run this year.”
