San Antonio fire investigators are trying to determine the cause of a fire that killed two pets at a triplex on the city’s Northwest Side.
The fire was called in just before 1 a.m. at a home in the 6800 block of Mountain Spring Drive, not far from Babcock Road.
Firefighters said when they arrived, they found heavy smoke showing from the single-story triplex. They managed to get a quick knockdown of the fire. Fire officials said the four residents got out safely, but their cat and dog however did not make it out. The cause of the kitchen fire is not currently known.The San Antonio Fire Department, the San Antonio Police Department and EMS all responded to the call.About the Author:
