University of Texas at Austin students held a memorial Wednesday for Domino, the most well known and beloved of the campus’ cats, who died earlier this week.for Domino, a well-known and beloved campus cat that died earlier this week.
Domino was first spotted on campus as a kitten in 2009. His kingdom was the area around the Flaw Academic Center, and he was cared for by employees at the UT tower. “For some people, he will crawl into their lap and purr like a kitten," she told the publication."For others, as soon as you put down the food can, his interest in you is over. He’s a character and much beloved. He’s the second mascot for UT at this point.”
