Kim Kardashian West just launched another business venture: shapewear. Kim's size and color-inclusive shapewear collection — Kimono — is coming soon.
To be fair, only three photos from the collection exist, so we’ll give Kardashian the benefit of the doubt and see what other promo images she rolls out eventually once the items are actually for sale.
Kardashian is also under fire for naming her shapewear collection Kimono, which is the name of a traditional Japanese robe, and it’s especially exhausting as the Kardashians continually appropriate other cultures and seem to escape unscathed each time. Some have pointed out that they could get behind the brand if it weren’t for the culturally tone-deaf name and if only she’d just called the line “why’s it called kimono if that’s a completely different style of clothing.
