Wednesday, the “Dilemma” singer was asked by reporter Dean Richards if she wanted to explain why she abruptly exited the NBC morning show last week.Kelly Rowland declined to answer questions about her controversial “Today” show exit but said she “loves” Hoda Kotb.“I’m so excited and delighted to be here to talk about the movie and nothing else,” she said, referring to her forthcoming Netflix drama, “Mea Culpa.
“Kelly and her team were not happy. They did not like the dressing room, so they decided to pull her off the show, leaving without a guest host for the 10 a.m. hour,” a source previously told us about the Feb. 15 episode. The “Survivor” singer’s team allegedly asked about another dressing room that was upstairs, but that room was occupied by Jennifer Lopez, who was there to promote her new album,“Kelly and her team were not happy. They did not like the dressing room, so they decided to pull her off the show, leaving without a guest host for the 10 a.m. hour,” a source previously told us.
