Search teams from the U.S. and Canada are trying to locate two missing men after their kayak was found on an island in northern Washington.

Their kayak was found on an island in Washington state.
Daniel MacAlpine, 36, and Nicolas West, 26, vanished while kayaking between Island View Beach and D'Arcy Island in British Columbia on Saturday. The pair was traveling in a tandem kayak, which was located Monday near Open Bay on Henry Island in Washington state, according to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police .
The RCMP indicated the search efforts for the men are focusing on San Juan Island, Lopez Island, and the Haro Strait. According to the San Juan County Sheriff's Office, search teams have been using boats and drones to assist in the search for the men.
