According to, however, the interaction was more than just a friendly chat. A supposed source tells the magazine that despite both being on hand to honor Washington, “it looked like there were more compliments being exchanged between Julia and Jamie.
The alleged insider further contends, “He couldn’t take his eyes off her, and she was clearly loving the attention and flirting back,” adding that Foxx “slid his arm around her waist and whispered something” at one point in the conversation. The anonymous tipster goes on to say there “were definitely sparks flying and everyone around them noticed,” while the actor “was over the moon to get his flirt on.
From there, the unidentified source says Holmes got upset when word of the “cozy situation” got back to her, and now she wants Foxx “to steer clear” of Roberts so she “doesn’t have to compete for his attention.” The seemingly phony insider, however, maintains that the actor has been “blowing up” Roberts’ phone with messages, and Holmes isn’t happy about it.
The tabloid’s story is flat-out absurd. For starters, Roberts is happily married to her husband of nearly 17 years, Danny Moder, with whom she shares three kids. Regardless, the magazine’s article is also based on claims from an unnamed “source,” butAn individual in Foxx’s camp also assures us nothing inappropriate went on between him and Roberts at the AFI ceremony. There was nothing “flirty” about their interaction and the actor hasn’t been pursuing her since.
