Katharine McPhee dedicates MariahCarey’s Hero to healthcare workers

Katharine McPhee is paying tribute to the heroes who are healing as the coronavirus continues to spread. The songstress uploaded a clip to Twitter on Monday from her Instagram livestream with husband David Foster, in which she sings Mariah Carey's 1993 classic,"Hero." The cover was dedicated to the medical professionals working around the clock to help those in need.
"So this is a song that I sang—it was the first time that I sang actually publicly when I was in the fifth grade. It was my talent competition," she explains in the video."This was my favorite artist who I learned how to, you know, riff—or I tried to learn how to riff. I did my best learning from this amazing artist. I’m obsessed with her.
