While royal-watchers are wondering if Meghan Markle will make a post-baby appearance at Wimbledon to cheer on pal Serena Williams, sister-in-law Kate Middleton has already made the scene at the London tennis tournament.
The duchess gave a sartorial nod to the unofficial “Wimbledon whites” dress code — players must wear white attire, though attendees aren’t obligated to — by wearing a short-sleeved white shirtdress for her visit on Tuesday. The custom-designed Suzannah dress, which featured black buttons and a bow on the lapel, was cinched with a bow belt from Alexander McQueen, which the 37-year-old has previously worn.
Kate also turned to McQueen, the label behind her 2011 wedding dress, for her handbag, toting a raffia version of the fashion house’s Wicca mini clutch. Ray-Ban sunglasses, black heels and a pair of Catherine Zoraida’s Fern hoop earrings completed the look. The duchess is a frequent fixture at the famed tennis championship.
