Kensington Palace released a new photo and a personal message from Kate Middleton in honor of Mother's Day in the U.K.

"Thank you for your kind wishes and continued support over the last two months," Middleton wrote, before signing off her personal message to fans with, "Wishing everyone a Happy Mother’s Day. C."The unexpected update from the princess comes just a couple of weeks after the internet first began to speculate that Middleton was actually missing — not recovering — due to her extended absence from royal duty.
