Dieter has been with the Chiefs since he made the Kansas City practice squad in 2017 as an undrafted rookie. And if a past trend continues, he’ll be back with them again. This is thethat the Chiefs have waived or released Dieter, and he’s re-signed with Kansas City after all the previous times.
Most of Dieter’s NFL career has been spent as a practice-squad member, including the entire 2021 season. In the three years between this season and his rookie campaign, Dieter played in 10 regular-season games and three playoff contests with the Chiefs.
