The Kansas City Chiefs' Matt Nagy getting another opportunity to be the team's offensive coordinator.
USA TODAY Sports' Mackenzie Salmon, Jarrett Bell, and Tyler Dragon react to Super Bowl 57 and breakdown the NFL offseason.As expected, the Chiefs promoted senior offensive assistant/quarterbacks coach Matt Nagy to offensive coordinator, the team announced Friday. Nagy is replacing Eric Bieniemy, who recently departed to become the Washington Commanders' offensive coordinator and assistant head coach.
Nagy rejoined the Chiefs in 2022 after spending the previous four seasons as the Chicago Bears head coach. He compiled a 34-31 record in Chicago. Prior to joining the Bears, Nagy was Kansas City's offensive coordinator from 2016 to 2017. He also served as the Chiefs' quarterback coach from 2013 to 2015.
