These are the fair reasons for Biden’s flameout. Then there are the less-fair ones. Everyone sort of knew that wokeness would devour Biden, but there’s still some pain in watching it unfold live. It’s true that Biden was behind an aggressive crime bill in the early 1990s, one that has rightly been revisited in the years since. It’s also true that he was opposed to busing in the 1970s. Everyone agrees that Biden is a handsy fellow.
