A source close to Davidson told E!, "It became very clear that he had to go and do this and couldn't wait any longer." This would be the second time Davidson has sought help. In 2016, he received treatment for his mental well-being.The news comes after reports surfaced about Gerber's parents, Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, intervening in the burgeoning relationship.
The two haven't been spotted together since the incident and Kaia returned to Los Angeles with her parents. E! notes that it's unclear whether or not Cindy and Rande helped Davidson decide to seek help and if the relationship had anything to do with it. An insider notes that Kaia "doesn't know if she wants to continue in their relationship" and that she "wasn't comfortable with what she saw and doesn't know if she can handle it."Advertisement
