Now, ProductionList.com shares that Jurassic World 4's filming start date is set for July 31, 2024. This new production start date follows the recent confirmation that The Creator and Rogue One director Gareth Edwards will be helming the film. Atomic Blonde director David Leitch had previously been in talks to direct the sequel, but those talks broke down. Evidently, the film is now full steam ahead with Edwards.
What To Expect From Jurassic World 4 Why The New Sequel Is In Good Hands While no official story information has been revealed about Jurassic World 4 just yet, Koepp writing the script suggests that the film could go back to the franchise's roots. Koepp not only penned the acclaimed 1993 Steven Spielberg original, but also its 1997 sequel, The Lost World: Jurassic Park.
Plot information may be scarce, but the Jurassic World Dominion ending could set up the events of the next sequel. The film ends with humans and dinosaurs living side-by-side, and the next movie could pick up where the previous one left off, just with new characters.
