Police are investigating a bomb threat at Judson University in Elgin, prompting a campus closure Monday until 5 p.m.
Elgin police are investigating the threat at the evangelical Christian university.
Initially, the university said classes would resume as scheduled and the threat "does not pose a danger to the campus community." As of 8:45 a.m., university officials said the campus is closed to guests and visitors with classes and chapel being canceled for students until this evening.
