Trayvion Gray, a Black student, was sent to in-school suspension in March over the length of his hair. Needville High School officials say it violated the school’s code. However, Trayvion and his lawyer say the same disciplinary actions weren’t taken on white students. A discrimination lawsuit was filed and now a judge has ruled in Trayvion’s favor.
