People and pets should not swim, drink lake water, or engage in other water activities at Juanita Beach, said Kirkland.
Juanita Beach is temporarily closed due to sewer overflow into Juanita Creek at Interstate 405 and Northeast 132nd Street, the City of Kirkland said in a news release.
The beach closed Wednesday and will remain closed until at least Tuesday, March 7 as a precaution from the Seattle and King County Public Health Department. People and pets should not swim, drink lake water, or engage in other water activities at Juanita Beach.
