Chiles’ third perfect 10 of the seaon helps UCLA edge No. 8 Cal.
WESTWOOD — Jordan Chiles scored her second 10.0 of the season in floor exercise to help lead UCLA gymnastics to a 198.050-197.200 win over No. 8 Cal on Sunday afternoon at Pauley Pavilion.
She paced all gymnasts in floor exercise on Sunday, followed by Chae Campbell in second with a 9.975 mark. Chiles also won the all-around crown with a score of 39.800. Emma Malabuyo scored 9.975 in beam, which included a 10.0 from one judge. She won the event, and Norah Flatley was right behind in second place at 9.950. Chiles came in third at 9.925.
