“She is definitely committed to making sure that this city is united,” Johnson said, adding that Lightfoot had offered to make herself and her staff available to his team to ensure that the transition is a smooth one. “It is a very great day for the city of Chicago,” Johnson said, declining to answer specific questions about what the two talked about and what he would do once in office.
