Fetterman recently defeated Republican Dr. Mehmet Oz for Pennsylvania’s open seat in the U.S. Senate. He takes office next month.according to The Philadelphia Inquirer.
That was well before the May 13 stroke that limited Fetterman’s campaigning during the late spring and summer. According to The Philadelphia Inquirer, Fetterman got to know Bale and Cooper during the making of another film, “Out of the Furnace,” shot in 2013 in Braddock, Pa., where Fetterman was mayor.
