Podcast host JoeRogan labeled transgender swimmer Lia Thomas the 'woke straw' that might finally break the camel's back.
"That might be the woke straw that breaks society's camel's back," Rogan said on a recent episode of The Joe Rogan Experience.
"People are, women are, so frustrated because if you — or parents, if your daughter is competing and they're competing against trans women, it's not fair," he said."It's not fair, no matter what anybody says. There's this nonsense idea of, like, 'Well, there's outliers.' There are outliers, and then, there's biological males."
Thomas, who swam for the University of Pennsylvania men's swimming team for three years in NCAA Division I, shattered records during the student-athlete's first year of competition against biological women.However, the crowd lauded the biologically female swimmers who finished behind Thomas, and the champion's victory was met with"polite applause."
Allowing Thomas to dominate in the pool is an"assault on women's sports," Rogan said, according to a report."There's a reason why we have a distinction between men and women's sports," he said.
