Joe Rogan responded to backlash and Neil Young’s music boycott over his Spotify-exclusive podcast, saying he was only seeking to have conversations with people who have “differing opinions.”

"I'm not trying to promote misinformation, I'm not trying to be controversial," the comedian and UFC commentator said. "I've never tried to do anything with this podcast other than to just talk to people." Rogan also pledged to "try harder to get people with differing opinions" on the show and "do my best to make sure that I’ve researched these topics — the controversial ones in particular."As new variant continue to spread across the U.S., we talk with doctors about how to live with the virus now and in the future.

Rogan is one of Spotify’s biggest stars, with a contract that could earn him more than $100 million. Last week, Young said he had asked his management and record companyin protest, where he had more than six million monthly listeners, according to his Spotify home page.
