Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams are reuniting as teammates.The New York Jets reportedly traded to acquire Adams from the Las Vegas Raiders, giving up a conditional third-round pick in exchange for the veteran receiver, via Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. That pick could turn into a second-round pick if Adams becomes a first-team or second-team All-Pro, or if he is on the active roster in the AFC Championship Game or Super Bowl.
The acquisition of Adams also comes after Jets wide receiver Mike Williams slipped during a crucial play at the end of the loss to the Bills. The Jets were facing 3rd-and-16 while trailing by just three points, and Rodgers targeted Williams with his pass. Williams slipped, and Bills cornerback Taron Johnson came up with an interception that gave the Bills offense the ball back to seal the game.
