Jazz Waive Xavier Sneed, Paris Bass - RealGM Wiretap
The Utah Jazz have waived Xavier Sneed from his Two-Way contract. Utah also waived the recently signed Paris Bass from his non-guaranteed training camp deal.
Sneed appeared in nine games between the Jazz and Memphis Grizzlies last season. The 6-foot-5 wing played in 15 G League games between the Salt Lake City Stars and the Greensboro Swarm. Sneed averaged 15.1 and 6.2 rebounds in the G League. He signed a two-year Two-Way deal with Utah in mid-February. Bass was signed and almost immediately waived by the Jazz. This set of transactions was designed for Utah to acquire Bass' G League rights. He's expected to play for Salt Lake City during this upcoming G League season.
