Tokyo Olympics organizers and the IOC are under mounting pressure to postpone the Games due the coronavirus outbreak.

According to official figures, Japan has committed 1.45 trillion yen to organizing the Olympics, with $277 million alone spent on building a new Olympic Stadium in Tokyo. On Sunday, the IOC revealed it had given itself a deadline of four weeks to make a decision over the fate of the Games, in the wake of mounting pressure from athletes and national olympic committees.
"These scenarios relate to modifying existing operational plans for the Games to go ahead on 24 July 2020, and also for changes to the start date of the Games."
