THE head of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority announced that Japan-based firms have expressed interest to apply for new and expansion projects in areas of logistics and apparel, among others.
Panga also cited those who expressed interest to apply for new and expansion projects include the following: Shibutani Shoten Corp. ; Junca Holdings Inc. ; Synergy Life Solutions Pvt. Ltd. ; Showa Spring Co. Ltd. ; Valtes Co. Ltd. ; Global Network Japan Co. Ltd. ; and, Inabata Philippines Inc. .ACCORDING to the Peza, Inabata is looking at expanding its warehouse footprint in the next two years to cater to its client ecozone locators nationwide.
Marukame seeks to hire a hundred more employees for its Philippine company, Marukame Fashion Cebu Inc., a 100-percent export-manufacturer of high-end and global apparel brands located in Mactan Economic Zone. Panga said these SMEs will be “vital in boosting the Philippines’s manufacturing supply chain and industrial ecosystem.”
