It was a full circle moment for the 27-year-old Lim as she ended up representing San Miguel Beer, the same team his father, Samboy, played the entirety of his career for, as its muse in the PBA Season 48 opening ceremonies.
For a change, two-time Southeast Asian games gold medalist Jamie Lim is exchanging her karate gear for a fine dress and heels.
“I'm very honored, full circle. My dad started his PBA career and ended his PBA career with San Miguel, and I am a muse now," said Lim, who was elegant in her red dress as she walked in the ceremony along with SMB players. Lim said she enjoyed her time as a muse and relished her chance to also be with other Filipina athletes who, like her, temporarily stepped away from their usual training routines and wore posh makeup, heels and dresses.
