James Cameron still has big plans for the Avatar series beyond the first three entries: 'Movie four is a corker. It’s a motherf---er. I actually hope I get to make it. But it depends on market forces.'
has been deeply entrenched in the development of sequels to his 2009 blockbuster “Avatar” for more than a decade, the director has shared that he’s considering leaving the world of Pandora behind for other projects down the line.
While Cameron certainly has a vision of more “Avatar” stories after those two films, he might not be at the helm for potential subsequent entries. The director toldthat he’s considering leaving the franchise in another director’s hands after he completes work on the third entry. Even so, Cameron expressed excitement about the potential to watch his grand plan for the “Avatar” saga come to fruition.
