He tossed 6 2/3 scoreless innings against the Mariners on 89 pitches, allowing four hits and one walk with three strikeouts. In Odorizzi’s last two starts, he has allowed one run in 12 2/3 innings and lowered his ERA from 9.00 to 4.15. Odorizzi received some help from his defense early, ending his first two frames on a double-play ground ball and a runner caught stealing by catcher Martín Maldonado.
