Korean entertainment agency MLD Entertainment recently launched New:ID, its second Filipino global boy band.
After a year of training and preparation, New:ID made their debut last July with the single “Ghost.” , New:ID members expressed their excitement about their debut and unveiled their plans and goals. “Of course, we are super relieved. We would dance for nearly 12 hours. We had singing, vocal lessons, rap lessons, all the lessons. We are super relieved that we made our debut,” said Jom.
According to Thad, “Yeah, for me, I'm very excited because we can finally show what we trained for this, what we trained for in other country, in Korea, we can show to the fans and to our future fans.” About their debut song “Ghost,” Jom explained, “On the surface level ‘Ghost’ is all about one-sided love about someone who can't love you back but for us the lyrics of ‘Ghost’ have a deeper meaning. The lyrics ‘I'm not a ghost, baby. Can't you see that I'm trying.’ We don't want people just seeing right through us. We want them to see our worth as an artist and our potential to be big someday in the future.
