South Korean superstars BTS met with President Joe Biden at the White House to discuss Asian inclusion, representation, art and more.
Ahead of their visit, the group's management company BIGHIT MUSIC shared in a statement that, as"artists representing South Korea," BTS were"honored" to receive an invitation to the White House, adding,"We look forward to discussing various topics including inclusion, diversity, anti-Asian hate crimes, culture and art.
It continued,"Our own experiences are inconsequential compared to the events that have occurred over the past few weeks. But these experiences were enough to make us feel powerless and chip away our self-esteem.","We stand against racial discrimination. We condemn violence. You, I and we all have the right to be respected. We will stand together. #BlackLivesMatter."We condemn violence.
