Charles Green took a plea deal and pleaded guilty to attempted murder.
According to court documents, the stabbing occurred not long after Charles Green joined his girlfriend and her friend in a church parking lot on May 27, 2020.
The women were about to walk across the street to buy food from a convenience store when Green allegedly approached them and told his girlfriend that she did not need to be walking by herself,When the other woman intervened, Green reportedly stabbed her in the neck several times, slitting her throat,In a copy of the 911 call, the victim can be heard saying “Help me,” “He slit my throat” and “Charles slit my throat,” according to court documents.
