Emergency management officials were out overnight and into Saturday after a swath of storms, some with suspected tornadoes, tore through Indiana on Friday night and early Saturday. Jack White, with Owen County EMS, said one area at the park was"just devastated." Downed trees and electric outages were reported in other areas of Owen County. White said about half of the town of Spencer still had no power Saturday morning.Updated: High winds down trees, trap people in campers at McCormick's Creek State ParkThree people were killed in Sullivan County after destructive storms swept through the area and most of the state last night and into the early morning, according to Indiana State Police.
