Incoming Clear Lake principal draws on background as teacher, coach and administrator

Orr is taking over for Jamey Majewski, who is retiring at the end of the school year after working for Clear Creek ISD for 22 years.Before heading to Clear Creek as an administrator, she was an English teacher and head swimming and water polo coach at Clear Lake.“One of the things that I loved about coaching was kids who were pursuing their passion in athletics and seeing them have success and carrying that success into their post-secondary endeavors,” she said.
Clear Creek High School’s population is socially, racially and economically diverse, and while some could see dealing with that as challenging, Orr doesn’t. After two years of dealing with COVID, Orr is looking forward to having members of the community coming back on campus.
