The trial of Ghislaine Maxwell entered its second week Monday with the testimony of a woman who alleged thatbefriended her and then facilitated her sexual abuse by financier Jeffrey Epstein.

The accuser, who is testifying using the pseudonym Kate, told the jury that Ms. Maxwell invited her to her London townhouse for tea when she was 17, leading to repeated sexual encounters with Epstein, often under the guise of massages.
