Compelling pictures taken inside the Laguna Woods church Sunday after parishioners tackled and hogtied a mass shooting suspect were released Monday. The powerful images show a group of congregants holding down the 68-year-old suspected shooter, who authorities say traveled to the Geneva Presbyterian Church in the city of Laguna Woods in Orange County from Las Vegas, Nevada.

The five wounded victims were identified only as four men, ages 66, 92, 82 and 75, and an 86-year-old woman. Investigators said evidence suggests Chou, a Chinese immigrant, held a grievance involving the Taiwanese community. China claims Taiwan is a part of its national territory and has not ruled out force to bring the island under its rule.
Investigators said the act was allegedly premeditated, and Chou allegedly barricaded doors before opening fire. Multiple weapons were recovered.
