This announcement was made during a program on NET25, INC’s media outlet, where the organization expressed support for President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s stance on the issue.”The members of the Iglesia are preparing to hold a rally. The Iglesia ni Cristo supports President Bongbong Marcos’s opinion against the impeachment pushed by certain sectors. The Iglesia ni Cristo is for peace; we do not want any form of unrest coming from any side,” said program host Gen Subardiaga.
Vice President Duterte is currently facing two impeachment complaints related to alleged misuse of confidential funds and threats against the President’s family. The first complaint was filed by civil society organizations, while a second was submitted by lawmakers from the Makabayan bloc, citing betrayal of public trust.
