The crosswalks created by 'Crosswalk Collective LA' seem to blend right into the rest of the city. But they didn't come from the city itself, and LADOT says they're illegal.

The Los Angeles Department of Transportation says they are. They added 1,400 new crosswalks city-wide in 2021.
