MANILA – Siniguro kamaikalan ni Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) officer-in-charge Undersecretary Hans Leo Cacdac nat tutulungan ng kagawaran ang mga naulila ng Overseas Filipino Worker na pinatay sa Saudi Arabia.

Dumating sa Pilipinas noong October 13, 2023 ang mga labi ni Marjorette Garcia, ang 32 taong-gulang na OFW na pinatay ng kanyang African co-worker sa Saudi Arabia.

Ayon kay Cacdac, maayos ang pakikitungo ni Marjorette sa kanyang employer. Mabuti rin ang naging trato sa kanya ng kanyang amo sa Saudi. Ayon sa sa charge sheet na nakuha ng DMW mula sa prosecutor's office sa Saudi Arabia, sinaksak si Marjorette ng katrabahong Kenyan.
