Police said Danny James, 40, was found unresponsive Thursday morning.
– Two Duval County inmates have died within three days this week, and a report from the medical examiner’s office obtained by the I-TEAM Friday afternoon office reveals the cause of death for one of them.
According to police, James was found unresponsive in his bunk around 4:50 a.m. Thursday morning, and there wasn’t any indication his death was caused by another person.It’s not clear yet what happened, but JSO said it was a potential medical episode. More than a dozen people have reached out to the News4JAX I-TEAM to say they’re worried about poor healthcare at the jail, including Faircloth’s husband. Multiple sources have also said that drugs are circulating inside the jail.
