“It’s annoying, but it’s a bit of a compliment too,” the 34-year-old nana admitted.
“People don’t even believe I’m my daughter’s mum,” McIntyre recently told Caters News. “They look at me in complete shock when I tell them. They’re like, ‘Wait, are you not sisters?’ When I say I’m a granny too, it’s even more of a shock.”
When her daughter came to her last year and announced that she was pregnant at the age of 17, McIntryre admitted that she had some concerns.@rachelmcintyre6 / CATERS NEWS In spite of her young age, McIntyre recently underwent a tummy tuck in Turkey. Now back in the UK, she’s exercising and preparing her body for the hard work of both her modeling career and her role as grandma.
McIntyre, who has another 10-year-old daughter, said, “The biggest upside to being such a young granny is that I’ve got a lot more energy.”
