The ramp from southbound Allen Road to northbound I-81 will be closed at 8 a.m. for staging equipment and will remain closed during repairs.
Weather permitting, repairs are scheduled to take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday on northbound I-81 at Exit 44 near Carlisle. The pavement repairs come after the road was damaged on Monday by a vehicle fire that caused I-81 to shut down for several hours in both directions.
The repairs will close the right lane in the northbound direction. In addition, the ramp from southbound Allen Road to northbound I-81 will close at 8 a.m. for staging equipment and will remain closed during repairs.
