6abc Digital StaffAuthorities in Chester, Delaware County are investigating after an armed suspect robbed a Brinks armored truck on Tuesday.
Delaware County officials say it happened around 12:16 p.m. Tuesday outside of an AutoZone near the intersection of 9th and Crosby streets.IMAGE: Police searching for these suspects wanted in connection with a Brinks truck robbery on July 16, 2024. Authorities say the suspects arrived and fled in a Nissan Pathfinder bearing a laminated paper tag of LLN-2328. The vehicle has black trim around the license plate, black rims and a roof rack.
There's a nearly identical vehicle that bears the same Pennsylvania tag number on a real license plate, authorities said. This vehicle is not involved in the robbery. It is described as having no roof rack and a white CarMax sticker above the left rear tail light. IMAGE: Police in Delaware County are searching for this vehicle, with paper tags, in connection with a Brinks truck robbery on July 16, 2024.The wanted vehicle reportedly frequents Hook and Calcon Hook in Darby Township and the area near 9th Street in Chester.Investigators say the driver was not injured during the robbery.
